The word "teknology" is a combination of the Greek word "teknon" and the English word "technology." A "teknologist" is therefore someone who studies and practices teknology.

Perfectly clear? I guess you should have paid attention in those ancient Greek classes you never took.

     A teknon is a child. It is also used as an affectionate term for a disciple. In my case, I am concerned with making disciples of children.
     Technology is the vehicle I use to do that. Technology is a key aspect of children's culture in the United States (as well as elsewhere). It is a highly effective tool for capturing kids' attention and helping them learn.

So what is a Teknologist? It's someone who applies technology to disciple kids.
